Heroin might be in decline in the US, but it is booming here. 13 year olds getting on the train... The dealers recruit them in front of our schools. It makes me want to puke, just when I think about it. And further, I do not need to get my information from the massmedia, which at least here is contr...

Can you show me any studies for what you are saying? I have to admit that I can not do that of the top my head. Most of the things that I heard and saw from you are more close to anarchistic propaganda materials than anything else. Heroin gets you addicted a multitude faster than anything else. It m...

Just for the record: I am not so much for punishing the victims (the addicts) but the bastards that make money off of them. The victims need to be cleaned and detoxed (probably in methadone clinics), then resocialized. When I say resocialized then I mean in the correct social environment, which is f...

Alcohol does not make you addicted on first use, by far not. Even drinking an average of one beer a day does not make you addicted. People are still highly functional after one beer. They are not after one shot of heroin. Also "normal" people can moderate their alcohol consume, heroin users can not ...

To get back on topic... I am hopeful that the new government will differentiate between spending money on military research, new technology and new equipment (good) and spending money in a useless war (bad). The cost of first is small at the moment compared to the cost of the second. If the new gove...

That might be true, but having actually seen or experienced something can rule out the "does not", "wont", "will", etc things people say if you have personally seen or experienced the contrary. Also a lot of people have the "it cant be so bad" attitude, especially those that are for legalizing drugs...

I am sorry my english is not good enough to fool you ;) Yes I am not from the US, but I have spent some time there. I am from central Europe and english is my second language. My evidence is not purely annectodal, but I refuse to give details away as I do wish to keep certain circumstances of my per...

Helius, I agree, both is needed. I am sorry if I come over offensive in my posts here at times, but drugs are one of these topics that make me very heated up. The strange thing is that people were all upset about 9/11 and happily went to war about that, but as horrible as 9/11 was and as much a slap...

That was to Msimon who was quoting annectodal evidence from a nurse. I do know scientists working in this field and none of them would ever suggest such nonsense as to legalize drugs. Also, the whole socializing and educating thing only has a limited affect. We have been doing this for decades here ...

My tabacco addiction cost me 450 Euros a year before I quit and yes that is to much money spent on this shit. However, a smoker is still highly functional in society, a heroin addict is NOT and you can bring me as many studies as you want to. I have seen them myself many times. The only thing they c...

Dude, I am coming from a family of medical doctors and I am working in the medical field. Plus I have personally known and seen people who suffered from this. I have seen them turn into zombies and die as slaves. Tools of racial oppression, what are you smoking? We do not have any racial opression h...
That is not good... If it has to be hooked to a steamturbine then there are lots of issues again with that. E.g (though only weakly) radioactive secondary coolant outside the sealed chamber. Besides it will need openings for the tubing of the coolant to go through. This is quite disappointing. I was...

Helius, one problem with these tests is that there can be false positives. Eat a bun with poppy seeds on it and you will be "heroin positive" for a couple of days, or even longer. This is why they have to actually find those drugs on you to do something. Since I assume that there are (luckily) still...
