My point is that some of my politics may parallel yours, but you have an incumbent president who practically stole an election. Not really. The system is set up as an electoral college. The Founders didn't trust the people and set up a system one step removed. It won't change, as it gives additiona...

BSPysics do you know how massive, a unit of force, a Gigapascal is ? The most super advanced materials currently in development have tensile strengths 10's of Gigapascals short of current estimations of the ribbons required strength. These materials are made in laboratories and rarely exceed millime...

^Nice, although i had to leave a comment :) Gerald Kulcinski seems to be a genuinely good guy. I actually first saw him on a special called mining the "mining the moon", where he set up a pretty impressive IEC chamber at the University of Wisconsin. Im suprised we havent heard more from him consider...

I am an American neocon and I can assure you we are not interested in rape and plunder....... Most of what you read about neocons has no basis in reality. Im not really talking about people as neocons as such but what words would you use to describe the current administration ? I voted for John How...

The Olympics will be very interesting, both for the world and for China. I think there is a high chance of something bad happening at the Bejing Olympics. Whether an actual terrorist attack that will claim lives, or some "master plan"that was "foiled" last minute by the "authorites." Conspiracy or ...

B=1 is when electron kinetic pressure equals magnetic pressure. Here are the two routes as previously mentioned to achieve B=1 Constant Magnetic Field, Increase electron pressure. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff283/mr_squeegs/10.jpg And Constant electron pressure, increase magnetic field http:...

Sweet  if its just black and white once they are on your puter reduce the bit depth to 2bit. Great way to shrink and clean up ebooks.

Yep ! Bitter magnets are a great design. Cant believe nobody has mentioned them yet. Will be great in a test reactor with CU and liquid cooling. Sadly very hard to apply to Super Conductors. http://www.hfml.ru.nl/pics/Photos/binsp20t-kl-w-t.gif If operation is feasible at the p-B11 peak 50 to 70KV o...

^Nice to hear from you Tony Simon do you have any links for the POPS work @ the fusor forum ? Im guessing the he must of did a frequency sweep with a HF radio and derived the results on a spectrum analyzer. You know that i have been thinking that same thing for a while now, but i realized that metho...

Being pretty realistic, heres a short list. Thermal issues. Keeping non super conducting coils cool from ohmic losses. Keeping super conducting coils below T=Sc. SC Quenching will lead to catastrophic reactor failure. Plumbing will be tricky. Sputtering/Contamination issues from reactor products. Th...

can i use these for my facebook group ? I am trying to make one for polywell fusion reactors . Yeah go for it, its not like i drew them. Although you may want to check out Mandala Central Fusion Facebook ? Hehe, I might create an account soon. I have always been wary of Social networking sites, i c...

The "wiffleball" effect is possible because pushing back the magnetic field is so stable. The compression effect tends to squash the cusps closed as an added benefit. If one could modulate the B fields with precision, i envisage that one could open and close the cusp flow analogous to the valves fo...

Hey Tom, that was really well written. Especially the part on direct alpha conversion. Thats the best breakdown i have heard of it yet. Also thats a nice story how you got in touch with Dr B. I wish i had a fusion lab 2 miles from home  That must of been a real special time for you. Just one Q...

Pure AC on the coils would turn the machine "inside out" once every cycle. i.e all the particle flows at right angles to the coils would reverse. You also lose magnetic confinement. Yep. 100% But look at the timeframe involved for WB6's tests. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff283/mr_squeegs/09....

^Yes But i believe there still exists the possibility of a Quasi-Continuous Polywell The cure is real simple: make the coil pulses as short as you can and monitor the temperature in the coils by measuring their resistance. Works like a charm. Dr Nebel could the inductance of the coils fight against ...
