This seems like a fairly compelling argument, to me. The degree of collective idiocy required to establish and build a $200 million manufacturing facility without having tested beforehand whether the proposed product actually works would just have to be beyond the ludicrous. Who ever would do such ...

I must say that these guys appear to have done a lot of engineering on the E-Cat to incorporate the reactor technology into viable commercial systems. It could just be a false front I guess, but the tone and content of their answers does not seem to comport with the rather amaturish demos conducted...

There in that youtube demo/presentation/experiment was nothing about hydrogen consumption. Actually, Rossi stated that at least 1g of hydrogen had been introduced, which he said was enough to run the device for a day. Apparently, if the hydrogen is removed (e.g. replaced with nitogren gas), the rea...

The hose was lying on the floor, with both ends raised. If there was significant condensation, would it not fill up with water and then start to spray and belch water at the open end? The simple answer No..well, kinda. Depending on the thermal loss of the hose per meter, a boundary condition will e...

I've wondered why there isn't more interest in Piantelli's work in this thread. Didn't he publish sufficient instructions to allow for independent replication of a claim of achieving reliable, if very modest, production of heat? Or do I have the wrong impression? EDIT: http://www.newenergytimes.com/...

An empty warehouse. A coffee machine on a card table. The "device" in a small room. The utilities not turned on. The coffee machine taken away. The "device" taken away. Is that science? No. But maybe the message he attempts to convey is not a scientific one but an economic one. ...

Krivit has now posted a "status report" on his report. http://blog.newenergytimes.com/2011/06/16/preliminary-report-of-interviews-with-e-cat-trio-rossi-focardi-and-levi/ Hrm. I'm not sure how wise or considerate it was for Krivit to include the address of the facility. The address is publ...

Has anyone heard more of this man's work (Yoshiaki Arata, Professor Emeritus at Osaka University)? He claimed to be able to demonstrate anomalous heat reliably. http://www.nextenergynews.com/news1/next-energy-news5.26.08d.html --------- I found this interesting reading: "McKubre isn't the only ...

The bottom line is that some reputable scientists have had a close look at the E-Cat, through demonstrations (the Swedes and others) or through independent verification (Levi at Bologna), and did not condemn it as being a crock. To me, this elevates the E-Cat above other clearly flaky energy schemes...
