Re: Dark matter theories

Not only undiscovered galaxies but also all the matter that might exist among galaxies and between solar systems within the same galaxy can have deep influence on those theories. Increasing the mass of galaxies by adding newly discovered baryonic matter will need the revision of the theorized amount...

Re: EM Drive

"Normal" matter is related to energy by the equation E=MC2. Since as you point out "dark matter" and "dark energy" are terms used to try to explain/describe observed properties like "gravitational lensing" in the case of dark matter (and accelerating spatial ...

Re: EM Drive

Okay...your post was about "Dark Matter "; not energy: Dark mater is one of those theories that I never considered as having a solid base, a theory born just on the need to mathematically satisfy an imperfect modeling of the universe due to our still limited understanding of the space tim...

Re: Dark matter theories

With the recent discovery of the probability of many tines more galaxies out there does that not put a kink ito dark matter Hypothesis? :?: Personally I would say yes. According what I read they expect to find thousands and thousands more once the survey is complete. That indeed should put a dent i...

Dark matter theories

Dark mater is one of those theories that I never considered as having a solid base, a theory born just on the need to mathematically satisfy an imperfect modeling of the universe due to our still limited understanding of the space time fabric, of the emergence of mass and of what the heck gravity an...

Warp Drive, Dark Energy, and the Manipulation of Extra Dimensions http://electrogravityphysics.com/wp-content/uploads/warp-drive-dark-energy-the-manipulation-of-extra-dimensions001.pdf Thanks for sharing, but more than a research paper this is a "wishful thinking and hype" paper. I stoppe...

My pleasure, and glad if it clarified some doubts.

Re: Vortex rocket engine: lighter, more efficient, more reusable

I guess I would be curious to know comparatively how much of a problem heat is in the turbines vs the combustion chamber. Heat in turbines has always represented the majority of engineering headaches. Any increase in temperature effects the very basic proprieties of any metal. In the case of a rock...

Re: Vortex rocket engine: lighter, more efficient, more reusable

Too late for them to carve a niche in the market I believe.
Their ingenious idea advantages are being eroded more and more by alloys developments and the new rocket engines generations.

Re: Renaissance Fusion

To add even more pain, it seems now that Wendelstein team will not be able to use Deuterium into the 7-x machine until at least 2023, due to "the time needed to full fill all German regulations for the use of Deuterium". No kidding, 4 more years....... We finally start to have the material...

Re: Cross Border Power / XNRGI

Very interesting idea. At 0.5 Kwh/kg (and 1.8 Kwh/lt !) they start to become a real interesting solution for applications like electric planes and robotics. For general application where weight is not a big concern (like cars and back up power solutions/load levelling) I believe that all what will m...

Re: Renaissance Fusion

I love stellarators as a research tool. I have been following the Wendelstein development since 2004, I have read most that has been presented and/or published during the last 14 years of development, and I can tell you all that it has been an engineering nightmare in almost every single aspect of c...
