Re: SpaceX News

Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition in event of success. [/i][/b] Those were times when men could actually use their own lives for the benefit of mankind and getting recognition for it. Now anyone pu...

Re: More Helion Energy news....

Another bit of information is that they seem to be very happy with their ability to recapture a good share of the power they are putting into the reactor for each pulse. David has been emphasizing that this is one key aspect that make their technology superior to other fusion reactor concepts. How ...

Re: Dark matter theories

Okay noted for future reference...here I was hoping you would have a comment about the specific post's content; extreme disappointment. I am always happy to comment about "content", but all what i read inside those articles are just plain "speculations" and unfortunately speculations tend to easily...

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2666386420301399 85.1% efficiency! Really cool publication Unfortunately is 3 cent for "thermal" kWh, not for electric kWh, as this was built as a thermal generator. Overall the design is not of a great performance, for either the electric conversi...

Re: General Fusion in the news

No one seems to be announcing demonstration machine build funding reached, and project initiation. Either investor cash has died of China Virus or performance targets have failed to have been reached. Smells like Fusion is in need of a China Virus ventilator and cure. I don't see the main issue bei...

Had to share this smile: looking for something to read this morning, I typed 'thorium salt reactors' into Bing. Second result was: Yesterday I found and watched a new presentation in Bali for Thorcon, worth watching if you have free time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB1IrzDDI9g Thorium Reactors...

Re: Wormhole question

To expand, for a wormhole, Woodward's book suggests a sphere with Mach effect "resonators(for lack of a better word)" on it. Each one is deiven so the capacitors inside undergo Mach effect fluctuations to produce nagative mass in the capacitors. Right? So the capacitors are now repelling the regula...

Re: Wormhole question

Assuming the negatove mass produced by exotic matter in something like a mach effect device produces a sort of negative gravity, how many Gs wouod it take to produce a wormhole/warp field, and do we have materials tuat cam hold up to it? Are you referring to the theoretical production of negative m...

This paper is mainly derived from the work done in the publication of the last patent. There was indeed several intriguing ideas and proposal in that patent, unfortunately it was only a theoretical framework model and they never actually tested in a real machine.

Unfortunately it seems that their advancement speed has reduced drastically in the last couple of years.
Not sure if it depends from lack of found or if they hit a stagnant point in their technological development.

Re: Continuous Electrode IECF // NextBigFuture

How would direct energy conversion reduce cooling needs? Whenever you convert something into something else you will face efficiency losses (generally waste heat), hence reducing the steps to the conversion process will improve the general efficiency, reduce the waste heat and hence the cooling req...
