Re: Mach Effect progress

Not surprised that NASA has slowed the public declarations down to non existent. After how the media mis represented the work EW was doing. As for impossible science, count me as one of the guys that isn't completely sold on that conclusion just yet. It is looking more and more like the lion share o...

Re: Mach Effect progress

I caught the last part of the live show. The most interesting thing Woodward said was that two labs have replicated his work so far, and there is an update to the book in the works. One only hopes that he includes this information about new replications in the book. Another interesting piece of news...

Re: Mach Effect progress

Any new news on the Mach Effect front? Jim's latest update indicated that the emdrive and cannae drives worked only when plastic inserts were placed in the metal chambers - a possible dielectric/Mach effect. Saw a similar post by Paul March on NSF. Though I am honestly more intrigued by next steps ...

Re: LENR Is Real

Here is how I think it works with Rossi. (1) He convinces himself that he has something that works, even though he knows it does not. (People are like that). He justifies ash substitution etc as doing what it takes to get funding for world-saving tech. He works to "optimise" the effect. or (2) He i...

Re: EM Drive

I think there are 2 different events occurring at the moment. The first is the experiment-based community discussion, which I'm fine with because I think it's the best way to confront criticisms in the work and experimentation. The second is Dr. White's theory, which it appears several with in the ...

Re: EM Drive

I think Paul is being open about it all, but I think others are jumping to conclusions. I believe he's saying the results look promising, but may not hold up. People jumped on that first part and well you know how the average person can be. I think I read that there would be a vacuum test in June p...

EmDrive = Alcubierre drive? http://mysteriousuniverse.org/2015/04/nasa-may-have-accidentally-developed-a-warp-drive/ Edit: I totally missed this was already being discussed above, sorry. No EmDrive != Alcubierre drive. its more like EmDrive physics ~= Alcubierre drive. While this distiction is smal...

Re: EM Drive

If Eagle has something, we'll find out. So far as the warp claims, I don't know what to make of them. When you look at the history of that experiment, and the fraudulent claims made about it from the start, it's very difficult to put any stock in the current claims. I assume you are referring to th...

Re: EM Drive

... Let people follow there our beliefs and follow what they understand is truth without being judgmental. I just want to poke my head in here and comment on this remark a little. The only problem with this is that I'd like to think there is an objective reality out there. As GI pointed out, we nee...

Re: EM Drive

@GiThruster If one were to assume that the QV is mutable and destructable under some condition. Are you saying there is no way we could ever hope to maintain CoE & CoM? I am inclined to believe that our limited experience with reality would also mean we really have no way of knowing at this point in...

the latest: http://nextbigfuture.com/2015/04/eagleworks-nasa-updated-emdrive-models.html?m=1 So I know better than to ask this. But I will anyway. whats your take on the EmDrive research to date being done at EagleWorks. Both from an experimental perspective and theoretical perspective. I would app...
