IEC (Polywell) and "Levitated Dipole" are just the only two fusion reactors that I know which confine ions toward the center (as the Sun does). Pulling them from the inside. Maybe it is time to start mimic nature!!! It has always given great results. Going against nature is not impossible but it has...

This is just the definition of geniality. Uncover a bright -but hidden- idea is job for geniuses. I have the clear idea that the future of fusion energy just consists in finding the right confinement configuration. This could be done by anyone of us, it is not needed to be Nobel prizes. Just thinkin...

This guy has two good things: - He has had an idea ( http://noblefuse.com/video2.htm ) - He has contacted with all the members of the Fusion Energy Science Advisory Committee (FESAC). Has anyone of us done the same? Me not. I think this strategy should be followed by the Polywell community I agree w...

One or two months ago I just did the same that you did: I added that link to the IEC Wikipedia page. Somebody deleted completely during the first day. I don´t know why some people is trying to state that CBFR is not an IEC device. I am not sure . Are they right??

Choff, Agreed 100% with you. Global industrial development + Education = End of Wars MSimon, I was not aware of these budgets and Africa commands. I hope with all my heart, although have my doubts, that you were right and all developed countries will help to get rid of tyranny. These is the first st...

It is my opinion that America as the world's premier imperial power has a plan for civilizing the world Ha, ha, ha. Sorry but are you kidding? By now you only have tried to invade those countries which are against your ideas (mainly if the have oil). Africa is plently of dictators and I haven´t see...

Z-pinch has a similar foundation ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z-pinch ) but this guy suggest to add external magnets to help pinching the plasma and enhance fusion. I don´t know much fusion theory to judge his idea. The other thoughts (AIDS, David Bowie,Messenger,...) is better to not comment it ....

why scam artist? I have´t seen anything about cheating in his web. He can be right or can be wrong but I don´t think he is an scam artist. The idea is quite good to confine ions ( http://noblefuse.com/video2.htm) , I don´t know if it is totally correct but maybe it is a SEED for a new confinement co...

Remember that WB-6 tests took only 0.25 milliseconds. The study you are referring founded 65 neutrons/ hour, converting this to the time lasted by a WB-6 experiment you will only see 0.00000451 neutrons/0.25milisecs as average. If you are able to detect 4 neutrons in 0.25 milliseconds in just an a s...

WB-6 tests results: FOUR successful tests. Lab notes

Now ,after listening to the achievement of plasma into the WB-7 reactor, it is a good time to remember those results obtained with WB6. Online is available an EMC2 report with the final results of WB-6 last tests. Just for info to newest visitors: http://ecow.engr.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/getbig/ne/527/ande...

Just one simple question: Which is the total CO2 emission per citizen in the US and in Europe? Not the increment. Maybe Europe has grow faster than the US because of the western european countries development ??? Who knows?? We know we have to improve and we want to do it even taking risk in the glo...

I think it is a pity to stop totally funding ITER until we are not sure of having an alternative. By now it is the only possible reactor to get fusion power, although with many drawback. I can think in 3 possible reasons for the US to stop funding: 1- Budget shortage as consecuence of economical sit...

Of course that ITER at the end will work. I am sure that a reactor 10 meter of diameter and so many facilities to fill a whole building and with last generations technologies will get breakeven. But if we want a cheap energy source for the third world Polywell is a much feasible solution. I can not ...
