I have no experience in physics.
But the drawing seems to indicate the magnets are solid as in any electrons following the magnetic lines end up smacking into the surface of the magnet.

Or am I misinterpreting the drawing?

The reactor plant, what would it need to have? How bulky would the complex have to be? Can we make the whole complex look like something from the year 3000? Sleek, low maintainance? Able to run for month without any interactions. Modular design, moron-proof. I remember seeing some images around here...
