And does SpaceDev want the same thing too? SpaceDev is a public corporation owned by its shareholders. I am a big shareholder and I could easily team up with other shareholders to make this into a reality but ofcourse I would not do this if it would be impossible or a bad idea financially speaking ...

Great idea, he can fund the next stage for EMC2 by lunch. However it is going to be a hard time connecting him, I'm certain that he is bombarded with thousands of offers every day. Paul Allen IS bombarded with ideas. He has this firm called 'Vulcan' that engage in philanthropy. But most ideas he ge...

Nanos Being Jewish myself and having lived in Israel. Let me give you some facts about middle east. Because westerners look at the issues with western eyes and get the situation in the wrong way always. First of all the money spent on the Iraq war is nothing compared to the riches in the Iraqi soil ...

MSimon That is great. This is exactly what I am talking about. Wikify Fusion. If we manage to get 50 people like yourself and Indrek then we could get something going. I could also donate some off my time. And as i said before. If this was done as a subsidiary to a corporation some of the compensati...

From a financial perspective, Benson needs to raise $200+ Million to build suborbital space ships, but issuing more stock would dilute the shares of existing stock holders. You know how far he is in the process of getting the funds needed to build dream chaser? //Rexxam62 (this is starting to get o...

Very good point!

Nanos

Jim Benson left SpaceDev because he started "Benson Space Company" that works on trying to raise funds to build a suborbital spacecraft. BSC will <probably< buy their engines from SpaceDev though.

I donated $100 to the Bussard Foundation. Will probably donate $1k more. But again something needs to happen if this is going to be done for real. And there are three ways if you ask me: 1. Someone rich fund it all in a one time lump sum (Some rich guy would probably love to fund it but given the ad...

But again it was just ideas. Working in the field of finance myself I also need to note that the price of University educa...

I have talked with Bussard and know that his new EMC2 foundation have taken in only a couple of $k so far. That has lead me to think if there is some other way to make the $5m tests then traditional capitalism just to prove it out. Because when the two tests he intend to do with the $5m are proven t...
