Surprise!! I did just receive a response from rnebel. He indicated that 1 million for a dodecahedron would probably be a little light, but might be doable. No other comment.

Responding to TallDave's comment about buying a WB-7 from EMC2, if the project is dropped. I am a first time poster and a retired very small independent power producer and have a number of questions. First, what would be a fair price? Second, It is my understanding that Dr. B had envisioned that WB...

WB-8 and WB-9

The purpose of this topic is to speculate as to what WB-8 and WB-9 might actually look like and what it would take to fund each. Lets start out with what Dr. Bussard had envisioned. WB-8 was to be a dodecahedron and together with WB-7 was to cost 2 million. WB-9 was to be a 100 mw power system using...

dodecahedron

Dr. Bussard had envisioned that WB-8 would be a dodecahedron. At this time, if a 1 million dollar grant was available to further the advance of the polywell effort, would it best be used to have the Nebel team build and test a dodecahedron? Are there other uses that might be more productive? Is ther...

dodecahedron

It has been said that Dr. Bussard had envisioned that WB-8 would be a dodecahedron. In evaluating funding priorities, would that still be the most logical next design step for WB-8? What might be the potential advantages of a dodecahedron design over the present WB-7 design? What might be its shortc...
