Re: WB-6 tests results: FOUR successful tests. Lab notes
I guess that document is mostly of historical interest, because EMC2 has built WB7 to reproduce the WB6 results and WB8 to achieve significantly better performance than WB6. The interesting question is not how well WB6 performed, but rather how did WB7 and WB8 perform? That is of course not known. I...

Re: Sorlox - FRC nautilus compressor
Uhm, I think you are confused. General Fusion does not do colliding beam. That would be MSNW and Tri Alpha. These use magnetic fields to do the compression. Besides Sorlox only has one plasmoid, not two. If you take a look on the General Fusions FPA presentation from last year on page 4 of this lin...

Re: Sorlox - FRC nautilus compressor
Is there any 3rd party review to back up the claims these guys are making? Unfortunately not. But if you look on the other projects that are using colliding compact toroids (CT), like General Fusion they basically are trying to do the same thing as Sorllox, that is to create a CT and shoot it into ...

Re: General Fusion in the news
Carl, I have no idea how much we'll know. Tri Alpha and EMC2 (Polywell) are certainly keeping quiet. I can only guess that GF is following suit. I would disagree with that Tri Alpha Energy is keeping quiet. As I posted earlier they have a massive amount of contributions at next weeks 55th Annual Me...
