I'd love to help, but I think my skills are only up to the kibitzing level when it comes to fusors of any type. :D

I've been meaning to try and learn Blender. Are you using it on Windows or Linux?

My maths are, unfortunately, not up to the majority of what you posted but does this statement mean you think a Polywell could get net power, but only at a ridiculously large size?

Re: Polywell for spacecraft

... politics. Beyond the planetary subsystems and major asteroid belts (Main, Greek, Trojan) there's not much worth controlling. Not much there? From Wikipedia - "Since the first discovery in 1992, the number of known Kuiper belt objects (KBOs) has increased to over a thousand, and more than 70 000...

I've been toying with the idea of a fly by wire submersible. It occurred to me that fiber would be the wire to use, because of weight. But I believe that fiber doesn't bend well, so perhaps not. The bending depends on the fiber. Some can bend pretty well, others not so much. My info comes from when...

Speaking of gravity, I beleive most believe that it travels at the speed of light- at least the gravity waves from star explosions, black hole mergers, etc, that experments like LIGO are trying to detect. The problem with that is aberration which shows, for example, that the direction of the force ...

Show me a good programmer who isn't also a musician and I'll show you an oddity. I don't do anything lately, but I was in band back in high-school. ;) I'm your typical non-zealot linux geek: PHP programming on windows and linux, running my own server for my website. Lots of books (mainly sci-fi wit...

There are plenty of regulations designed to keep new competitors off the market.
Which makes me wonder what would happen when someone builds their own polywell and takes themselves off the grid.

It is a multijacket system: SC + LHe, vacuum, LN2, vacuum, H2O 300K, vacuum, H2O 600K, vacuum chamber. Taking this into account, what do you think the minimum diameter (outer layer down through the SC and back to the outer layer) would need to be for the torii? If we have that, it should point to a...

Either way: you need a hell of a capacitor bank or a specially constructed generator that can put out high peak power. Or else some honking power supplies. Figure WB-6 at 1/4 mS vs 25 mS. That is 100 times as much capacitance. Might as well build power supplies. There is, if they could manage to ge...

As frustrating as having to wait is for everyone that wants to hear the "official" results, I have to agree this is probably the best plan.

A quick googling found these specificationsfor a specific flavor of aerogel. Wikipedia mentions the most insulative aerogel is silica based with added carbon, but apparently lacks a citation, so take that with the obvious grain of salt.

I first heard about the Polywell on the American Anti-Gravity site. I used to go there periodically to see what was posted (some interesting, some obviously ... different). There was an audio interview with Dr Bussard on there from Oct 2006 (or was it 2007?) and thats where I first heard about it. A...
