Re: Helion Energy to demonstrate net electricity production by 2024
My fear is that the moment anyone has a fusion energy production prototype, we are going to see a much harder scrutiny, and murderous attacks. I do agree that so called "environmentalists" will rally against anything that does not justify them raising Malthus from the grave. This worries me as well...
Re: EM Drive
So, "pure electricity". No gaseous, liquid or solid fuels. What could they be doing, capturing electrons from the solar wind and expelling those at high velocities? Except that those already travel at 250–750 km/s, and electrons have so little mass. From their website: IVO Ltd., the pioneer of capac...

Looks like the nanos.org.uk website doesn't like having its images linked or something. For sake of closure, rumor has it that their CFR project was shut down pre-COVID. I don't have any sources to cite, but this might be as much as we ever hear.

The star Polaris is a part of the constellation Ursa Minor, so housing the machine Polaris in the building Ursa makes sense. But Antares is the name of a star that is part of the constellation Scorpius. Why not name the manufacturing building Scorpius then to produce their commercial Antares-class m...
