I am curious about these questions as well. Just in case you didn't know about it, this might shed just a little bit of light on your question: http://www.santafenewmexican.com/SantaFeNorthernNM/Robert_Bussard__1928_2007_Physicist_known_for_pursuits_into_fus Dr. Nebel is mentioned and quoted at seve...

Fusion at Peninsula College 2

Here are the Peninsula College students who made fusion on Jun 21, and again today on Jun 23. They detected their neutrons with a bubble detector purchased from Dr Derrico of Yale Univ (Yale will only sell their bubble detectors to other educational institutions.) Today I saw at least three bubbles ...

Fusion at Peninsula

Derek Madison, one of the students involved in the Peninsula College Fusor Project reported to me in a voice mail that they achieved fusion on Jun 21. He says they will attempt to duplicate the results today Jun 23 at 10:30 AM in the Peninsula Physics lab.

Dave, I took out “sprayed” and substituted “injected” in polywellnuclearfusion.com. For some reason I'm thinking of a "gentle puff of gas". Neither Dr B nor Tom Ligon have seemed particularly pleased with the puff gas system. Dr. B: Valencia Paper, Physics and Engineering Aspects of Pulsed Operatio...

Grant, I added a footnote and a link to this page on my website: http://www.polywellnuclearfusion.com/Clean_Nuclear_Fusion/Clean_Green_Safe.html Let me know if there's more that you think I should do to address your concerns. Thank you for prodding me on this - it did need to be fixed. JohnP, thanks...

Mike, I promoted “Contact Info” in polywellnuclearfusion.com to a menu item (and demoted “search, site map, FAQ” to a link in the lower right corner. Do you think that will address your concern? (My “real name” is on the “Contact Info” page – but you can call me Bill Flint. I wish I had used Bill Fl...

boron injection etc

ravingdave wrote: "Boron and Hydrogen are sprayed into the space just inside the Magrid as shown on the right. " I am thinking that the term "sprayed" is misleading. I believe Dr. Bussard said something more along the lines of ions being allowed to fall towards the center. Apart from that, the diagr...

website feedback

Mike, I'm not sure whether you are referring to my website at www.polywellnuclearfusion.com But if you are, check the lower right-hand corner of the "Clean Nuclear" home page. You should see a "contact information" link; that will take you to a page with contact info for your elected officials, and ...

Collector grids as Faraday cage

Thank you for your most helpful replies – I guess I’m obsessed with these collector grids – trying to understand how they would work: I am picturing two spherical collector grids inside the vacuum chamber, charged to 1.2 MV and 1.7 MV, but far enough from the chamber walls to make arcing unlikely (a...

1. Proliferation really isn't an issue with Polywells. If you introduce neutrons into the system (via D-D or D-T) you destroy the coils. These are inherently advanced fuel systems. Yikes! Am I understanding this correctly? Does this mean that a full-scale D-D Polywell is entirely out of the picture...

Making Electricity with the p-B Polywell

I am trying to understand how the p-B polywell makes electricity. My present understanding is that it works in somewhat the same way as Henry Moseley’s 1913 Beta Cell. His apparatus was a glass globe, silvered on the inside, with a radium emitter mounted on the tip of a wire at the center. Betas emi...

I was trying to find the lab notes referenced using JohnP's and MSimon's links below: http://ecow.engr.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/getbig/ne/527/anderson/notes/bussard_wb6rpt080604fnl0107.pdf and http://iecfusiontech.blogspot.com/2007/11/wb6-lab-notes-added.html Neither link seems to work anymore. This sure is weird. I agree that is definitely looks like fission, but getting accustomed to the idea will take some time. In my own defense, RWB did call it fusion, and the reaction all happens below iron on the curve of binding energy. I know that I'm going to have to somehow put this weirdness in...
