You can see the chamber in the top left of the image below. The access port was on the back side, opposite the injection gun (big ass appendage with yellow cap on this side).

Re: EMC2 news
There is a photo of the lab floating around. You can see the chamber in that. It is pretty big. It, as I recall, is roughly a 1.5m cube. That does not include the foundation support. I would need to check. Been a while since I stood next to it. It is currently in storage in San Diego. Edit: correcte...

Re: Extraterrestrial colony companies
Typical Brown bias. The article demonstrates some leaps of logic, and a lot of naivety regarding what is currently going on in space as well. Meh. I think two things are going to drive the future of humanity, and they are interrelated in a big way: The coming (I hope) Energy Age, and its enablement ...
Re: EMC2 news
If crowdfunded, it would not be to make money. The focus would be to defray the costs of moving it to a good home. It is pretty big and heavy. A lot of steel there. I know some may have some thoughts of putting it back in use, or even the chamber. However, the intent is to keep it together as a samp...
Re: EMC2 news
Udvar Hazy would be cool if it can be worked out. Do you mind giving it a shot?
CSC is an option also.

Thanks Choff!
Anyone else have some thoughts here. I know we talked about something similar before. Come on Guys & Gals!

Re: EMC2 news
How? Ideally, the transfer is helped by cost reduction. There are some great Science Museums, however getting things there from San Diego may incur some cost. WB-8 and Chamber are not small nor lacking weight. I like the Smithsonian, however, it could be unlikely that it gets on display any time soo...

Re: Merkel is a traitor
"The U.S. military won't buy weapons from other countries and freezes other countries weapons out of the market" Not true. The U.S. military has and does buy foreign systems, as well as partner regularly in multi-national development and sales engagements. The real crime is that the U.S. taxpayer en...
Re: EMC2 news
WB-8 & Chamber are looking for a good museum home. Anyone have any thoughts on where and how to make this happen. The unit is currently in San Diego. Would also be helpful if some funds could be raised, potentially in a matching scheme to defray move costs.

Sadly, two mentioned are slow motion flaming trainwrecks seeking a mountain to run into.
And Polywell was not mentioned at all (or contacted as far as I know).

Re: 1st Superconducting High-beta Device
I think you should be looking at efficiency vice size. While size does bear on efficiency, it is more appropriate to say that efficiency is the horse, and size is the cart. So looking at electron confinement efficiency is key. After that, it is the efficiency regarding driving a well in support of h...
