News from NAVAIR Weapons: Fee Waiver denied. We are on the 2hour/100page plan. As I understand, due to me by the 23rd of Feb, focused to the Peer Review for WB7/7.1. Edit: Corrected ONR to NAVAIR, still nothing from ONR with the DC Area Weather. I expect something from them later this week regarding...

I don't get it, 113 years of data/ four blocks with one overlap show for over 100 years, the avg rise more or less .16per decade, and he says that .12per decade is borderline significant when it is clearly below the 100yrish track? This whole thing smacks of "Measure with a Micrometer, Mark it with ...

So we can dissect what this sentance really means: "3.1.2 The design shall use circular coils around each main face cusp axis." I think he is holding to the cube. Also, we never did see what the "improved" coil connector stub tubes looked like for WB7.1. They may also have made a futrther imrovement...

<insert more jeopardy music here> <overlay finger tapping here> With "snowmageddon" in DC, ONR has yet to respond since the "your request in under consideration" regarding my begging for 2hrs/100 pages free, and NAVAIR out west is silent since the "we are waiting on determination" of 2hrs/100 pages ...

I don't count districts and protectorates as states. Merely drains of state paid federal tax revenue. Plus the Canadians get mad when you remind them they are a state. They tend to insist they are several states that are not so happy to associate with each other, but share a common liking of police ...

I would bet 50 of 50. You can Ski on Mauna Kea in the winter. A little icy, and prone to sunburn if you don't use 50proof (lotion, not cocktail), but skiing non-the less. http://www.instanthawaii.com/cgi-bin/hawaii?Astronomy.cams - you can see patches on the ground today. In March(ish) it gets decen...

Chris, There are more things that have been flown than RTG's when it comes to Fission Power sources on space craft. There were/are some promising designs that have been built and tested succesfully. The issue, as always, has been funding priorities and tree hugger interference. http://en.wikipedia.o...

I saw an article yesterday talking about using car body panels as batteries along the idea of a Capacitor. If this is the same tech, I apoligise, I have not read the link yet. Apprently they are going to try the spare tire pan in the boot first. My curiousity has me wondering if/when they progress t...

Josh, Rick will have five days to answer/ not a month. Additionally, if he sticks to long standing principle from Dr. Bussard, he will not have any issue with any release of info. At the end of the day, Dolly is going to be the one to deal with it, not Rick. Don't be so quick to pull a trigger. Pick...

New update: I spoke with the NAVAIR representative that is handling the FOIA. It is up for Fee Waiver review and expected to have a determination within a day or so. In the mean time they have gone and reached out to gather the Peer Reveiw data. Once it is in hand, it will be turned around to the CO...

Fair enough, but in this case, I do not think there is much if anything they would feel compelled to redact (the famous black-ink marking pen for our english challenged readers). Again, the shot is in the air, so we shall see where it spots. I am learning some things as we move forward and certainly...

IAW DODINST 5230.24 that is not correct. The whole point of FOIA is for distros that are not group "A". Dr. Nebel can not post to the web due to the standard contractual limitation that says he must clear it first with the contracting office. He can request to post or share info. The Navy must appro...

All correct. I just looked as well. Page 10 of 51.

Also, in the CDRL (Contractors Data Requirements List), you will notice that they are required to submit monthly updates per A002.
A prime target for a peroidic FOIA!

North Randolph Street, Arlington.

Good point. Should've thought of that before I got hopeful.
