you'll be wanting a couple of dozen 'Explosively Fast' ECats then - I'm sure Rossi can rustle-up an order form in a trice. did u have any preferred delivey date?.

Re: 10KW LENR demonstrator (new thread)

interesting these appear to be tests of a 'high temperature' version of ECat - believe wev'e not seen anything much about these before - they were simply mentioned previously in passing as 'too unstable' - most of Rossi's direct work (if u can call it that) was on lower temp models, iirc. agree, Lev...

Re: Quantum Entanglement Faster than Light

http://www.gizmag.com/quantum-entanglement-speed-10000-faster-light/26587/ Quantum "spooky action at a distance" travels at least 10,000 times faster than light fascinating stuff. however, i was more impressed by this paper/insight from 2011: http://arxiv.org/abs/1109.6750v3 'Solving the Einstein-P...

Re: Lockheed Martin Skunkworks - Compact Fusion

If this is a two-coil cylindrical machine, maybe Lockheed is using a circular array of their "magnetic beam" devices to block the ring cusp between the coils. http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&docid=XrVYl8JdUlOXLM&tbnid=5NMIrthOUR5kLM:&ved=0CAUQjBwwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%...

outrageous slander. semi-educated. possibly some Mafiosi chum of Rossi. i hope he allows Famulus the decency of a right of reply. i pity the future of science in Italy wiith idiots like that holding teaching positions, professedly.

i believe the solution to this problem might be found through dimensional analysis. like the sound of that. cant think of a problem it couldn't/doesn't solve, almost. fusion reaction volume is determined by the volume of the wiffleball, whereas electron loss through the wiffleball is determined by ...

do you have any numbers which show it WILL/IS a problem for Polywell? i do not think so. There in Polywell are typical conditions for creation of this type of instability: electron beam enters into background plasma consisting from two spices: electron spice and ion spice. Nebel in his article inve...

Colliding beam fusion is an old idea. The problem with most designs for the concept is beam scattering at the intersection point. The polywell is different is use of spherical symmetry, where ion scattering to a different direction doesn't impact confinement. Penning trap devices suffer from cross ...

Nice summary, Rc! i suspect they will need to crack the problem with stealth and smart thinking/innovation rather than 'brute force' (keV's?). Which is another way of saying tweaks and "baby-steps" won't work -- something more fundamental may be needed. I am fascinated by the idea beryllium is tran...
