Re: Sell The Whitehouse to Trump
Constitutionally, the President may not spend a single penny without Congressional approval. However some of that approval may be ongoing law, not dependent on regular budget passage. Military spending, however, is specifically excluded from ongoing spending resolutions. Note that the people most di...

The symbols you're not recognizing are calculus operators. dropping the less significant (for experiment we're like;y to do near term) second term inside the square brackets, roughly translates to (If I'm remembering the notation correctly): change in rest mass (relative to base mass?) = (1/4pi*G) *...

Looking up the equations, found https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodward_effect
Question, kunkmiester, do you know any calculus? I got through differential equations, but that was over 20 tears ago, and haven't used them much since. I'll have to refresh myself on some notation.

The instability of crypto-currencies makes them impractical for setting prices or wages. If you accept them as payment, you need a frequently updated exchange rate, or charge a premium to accept the unstable currency. A project I'm involved in, accepting payment in cryto has come up for ancillary be...

Re: Lockheed Martin’s Compact Fusion Reactor
I have done some rather simple calculations that show that for a given number of amp-turns making the device smaller increases the power inversely. i.e. half the size doubles the power. Smaller is better. Where this gets good is in Polywell rockets. And for rockets smaller is intrinsically better. ...

Re: Sell The Whitehouse to Trump
Swelling the money supply, thought insanely low prime interest rates, was the policy of the federal reserve and other central banks through the Barrycade years. Swelled stock prices, but did squat to help the overall economy. The only thing keeping inflation from exploding out of control was those w...

Re: Factor X have we finally found the fountain of Youth?
The number I came to looking at mortality figures several years ago, excluding old age and infant mortality, was an average lifespan around 1000 years. Of course both luck and lifestyle choice would impact that. Half the population would have a fatal accident sometime during their first 1000 years, ...

How does this compare to lost-PLA metal casting? I'm guessing not nearly as good.

No image at the linked page of the new design. I wonder if it resembles the peanut plasma configuration I came up with while we were speculating on the design.williatw wrote:This design has since been superseded with a model using only two main cusps.

But who do we trust to determine what's real and what's fake? I certainly don't trust a government that locked up a man over exposing a major scandal of government officials ignoring pedophile rape gangs.

Re: Mach effect questions
So, found my notes, here's the fun parts, I'm wanting to work to being able to go from knowable quantities such as capacitance(in farads), voltage, acceleration etc. into physical needs and predictions. My understanding of Woodward's hypothesis is dE/dT is a major factor. Energy(capacitor) = (1/2)C...

On the theme of high frequency, a brainstorm: A flywheel with dielectric on the edge, energized and de-energized by sector(s) of the surrounding case charged to high voltage. Control cases can include no charge, and different combinations of sectors charged, and different spin rates. If I understan...

Re: Water based propulsion for deep space efforts
Performance using water as propellant is directly related to how you're heating the water. With solid core fission the ISP isn't so great, it's hard to deal with the hotter reactors and corrosive effect of water. With solar heated water you might get some very good ISP, at not so great thrust becaus...
