It sucks when a man that`s worked so hard on something such as this, not live to see his dream come true... and he was so freaking close! You feel such sadness for that man, the kind of sadness you feel for a father ho has to bury his own child... just unnatural.

Thinking back to when I was a kid, I remember reading so many novel's with regards to fusion ships based on Bussard Ramjets. The man came from a time when it's was ok to dream big. The world lost a true visionary.
All we can do is keep his dream alive if nothing else to honor him!

Sad news. My condolences to his family and friends. For sure that in a near future Polywell will work. And he will be happy watching this breakthrough quietly sat in heaven surrounded by many others scientists who changed the world with their discoveries.
We should be thanked to him for his great contributions in science to improve the way of living in the whole planet if viable.
