Anybody watch the webcast? You'd think you were watching the Super Bowl or something... The host is literally chocking up as he's talking.

Saw it live. Could have done without the mainstream media style commentators. Like to hear only the engineers. Oh well.

Congrats to SpaceX on a job well done!

I watched the live stream. My heart was pounding as I watched the launch and the landing. This was absolutely amazing!

Gotta say bravo to SpaceX for broadcasting the landing live. After the last launch they could have easily swung the other way on live coverage policy.

I'm watching the recording right now, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5bTbVbe4e4 Nothing of interest before 9:22. Actual launch should be ~32 minutes in.

Nothing better than turning on your PC after a 13 hours flight and see such a video.
Congrats to SpaceX and all the engineers that made it possible. I was waiting for this since i was a kid.

This is going to change a lot. Space just got a lot cheaper.

I have not seen such excitement since the heady days of Apollo in the late 60s and 70s

Gives a whole new generation the feeling we had first launched a man to orbit and then onto the moon. I don't think this has struck the general population yet of what an advance this is in space travel.

Great achievement SpaceX.
I had the privilege of witnessing a historical event last night.
Indeed, access to space will get a lot cheaper.

Spacex will try landing on the barge again. If they try landing on the center I think it will succeed. If they try sliding on again I predict another failure.

Can't tell if serious?

In related news, they have successfully completed a static fire test of the 1st stage that landed.

Since he said data was good overall, I assume that the thrust fluctuations were within allowed parameters but I might be wrong.
On another note, SpaceX along with Orbital and Sierra Nevada has been awarded at least 6 CRS-2 missions. Congrats are in order for that,I presume.
