Would not measurements of neutrino speeds consistent with the speed of light be a counter to this hypothesis?

Are there any solid observations not consistent with electron neutrinos being tachyons?
Are there any solid observations not consistent with electron neutrinos moving at or below light speed?
The daylight is uncomfortably bright for eyes so long in the dark.
