Hello All,

New Post is up:

This a short one. It includes Jamie Edwards' appearance on the Letterman on (4/9/2014). You can watch the video here.

Executive Summary:

This post argues that resource depletion, scale, simplicity and economics will lead to interest in electrostatic fusion. By 2035, natural gas and oil reserves will be gone from 17 and 28 nations, respectively. Bill Mckibbens has argued this imbalance will lead to war. New energy methods, uses and efficiencies are needed. Al gore has pushed for generation with renewables. However, development has been limited due to cheap fossil fuels. To reshape energy: environmental, political and economic forces will be needed. An economic force is the most appealing, due to its’ scale, speed and permanence. To do this an energy source must be found which is cheap, abundant and green. Commercial fusion could be this solution. Inertial electrostatic confinement has recently broken away as a cheap and simple path to fusion. This is underscored by recent attention given to Jamie Edwards, a 13 year old fusioneer. The post closes with a prediction that interest in IEC will rise in the coming years.

Great that someone that young could understand the concepts behind the fusor. Too bad the Fusor will never net energy :(
