Twisted waves

Post by Nanos »

I was reading this today:

"Twisted' waves could boost capacity of wi-fi and TV"

And it made me wonder about magnetic confinement, in that could this be a way to increase the field strength ?

(I'm also reminded of the Searl Effect Generator, which from asking questions about its design, had some replies that seemed consistant with the above thought. (One description from what I recal mentioned 3D/AC style flux lines in permanent magnets.))

I'm also reminded of:

Which due to its strange natural properties make me wonder about its usefulness in this area, or at least hint to further material choices along similar lines.
