Recommended or Primary Reading List?

Post by Riothamus »

I am customarily a lurker, but since the Technical FAQ link is broken, and FAQs are question oriented anyway, what does the community think of putting together a Recommended Reading list for understanding the Polywell? I am thinking, in particular, of the relevant academic papers and lab publications, and where they might be found.

Other options for inclusion, at the discretion of those with the knowledge, are good books on fusion, and the papers concerning the development of fusion theories, IEC designs, etc. The older papers would have a clear place in the History section as well.

For myself, I am beginning with the Australian paper posted by mattman, and working my way back through the references, in tried and true research fashion. I thought that a list post might simplify the research process, and offer a centralized location for announcing access to poorly circulated or no longer supported papers. Thoughts?

Should Famulus' blog be included?
