magnet wire

I was doing a vendor check today and it turns out they make all sizes of magnet wire:

I really need to dig out my old magnet drawings from Jefferson Lab and see how we wrapped the coils.

ROCKFORD - Wisconsin billionaire Ken Hendricks completed his purchase of the massive Essex Wire plant on North Main but details of his plans for the building have not been disclosed.

Neither Hendricks nor Ann Shea of Hendricks Commercial Properties were available to discuss Essex’s future this week. Whatever Hendricks does have in mind, at least his initial investment didn’t put him in too much of a hole.

According to the Winnebago County Recorder’s Office, Hendricks Commercial Properties paid just $600,000 for the 308,990-square-foot building on 15 acres, which has been used for storage since Essex closed the plant in 2002.
