BC5 Boron Doped Diamond - renewed interest

Post by rcain »

"'BC5' Material Shows Superhard, Superconducting Potential" - recent science press release on a number of channels, including

http://nextbigfuture.com/2010/06/diamon ... rhard.html

related earlier research here - http://prl.aps.org/abstract/PRL/v101/i1/e016401

been loosely mentioned a couple of times on here. imagined it might have applications in works like Lerner's; Polywell, I'm not so sure (magrid? injectors, nubs, chamber walls? who knows?).
