Yeah, that was my first thought too when I saw the "Obama Youth" button.
Especially after having already seen this:

These guys were chanting "ALPHA OMEGA.. ALPHA OMEGA .. "

Creepy.

Just for kicks I went to the website to see what it looked like. I was immediately redirected from Obamayouth.com to Youth4Obama.com . I guess someone pointed out to them the similarities between "Obama youth " and "Hitler Youth." I guess being a socialist cult adoration society is tougher than it used to be.

I was calling Obama's forced service plan for high school students the Obama Youth myself. He was going to REQUIRE community service and provide a list of the activities that qualified. This was his plan. To me, it seemed like indoctrination. So the term Obama Youth seemed to fit.

Later, he changed the web page and removed the requirement for community service. Probably because someone realized how unconstitutional it is.

Eh, It's not as bad as you make it out. We've had that requirement up here in Canada for a while, and nobody's dead yet.
It was probably removed because it's just plain annoying.

No one dead yet? That is a rather low bar.
