More STEORN nonsense in the news

Post by Giorgio »

Looks like Sean McCarthy of STEORN fame has not been idling in these last months.
Probably supported and pushed by the many admirers he has around the world (some of whom are also on this board) he presented to the human race his latest invention.

THE INDUCTION WATER HEATER!

I kid you not:

Before you start asking, let me clarify that this amazing feat of technology those nothing except heating water. No extra energy, no over-unity, no mysterious amplifiers.
Is just an induction water heater.

What's so amazing about it than?
According the words of Master Sean McCarthy, the technological breakthrough (patent pending) has been the creation of a low frequency induction heating technology.

Something unheard of before!! ..... or maybe no?

We really live in funny times.

Maybe they would be interested in buying an egress?
Engineering is the art of making what you want from what you can get at a profit.

The only egress I will be willing to offer them is a one way ticket to North Korea.

I see one advantage to inductive resistance heating for water over external resistance heaters, performance would not be degraded by hard water scale inside the heater.

It's true, but with glass coating of vessels and Teflon coating of heating elements this issue is less and less important for heaters.
Additionally if you want to protect the whole pipeline system you will anyhow need a water softener system at the main inlet.

Just for sake of closure:

Or:

Former CEO Shaun McCarthy said of Steorn’s investors, “We took their money. We raised their expectations and it fell flat on its f------ face. They’ve a right to be angry about that.”
