Because marijuana remains banned by Congress, banks and security firms deny services to most dispensaries. That leaves them cash-based and vulnerable, a magnet for criminals who like the idea of unguarded counting rooms and shelves lined with lucrative horticulture.
So maybe if pot wasn't "banned by Congress" the normal security measure most lawful businesses are allowed could be practiced by the pot shops. In other words the problem is still caused by the WOD.
They're not lawful businesses. They're violating federal law If the feds decide to enforce, they'll have to send FBI in and they will arrest all the sellers and put them away for several years.

Well. No. You misrepresent.
It is a significant contributor. But so are drugs now for that matter.
As for race. Dude get over it. It is not about race. It is about economic condition. Its people like you that keep trying to make everything about race that keep frick the country up. Take your quotas and race based entitlement bullshit and stick them where the sun don't shine. One day you may realize that those are the things that drive the economic inequality, and make it persist. Until we do away wit hthe free stuff culture, we will never go anywhere, and in fact more than likely fail as a nation.
What will you do when that happens wonder boy? Blame it on whitey again?
You really need to grow up and learn about a concept called personal responsibility. Something very much lacking these days in our nation courtesy of uninformed idiots like you.

Alcohol (and cigs) aren't overwhelmingly the drug of abuse of choice of our society?! I need to get a clue? You gotta be freaking kidding me. The leaps of logic you’re willing to go to justify your WOD. No wonder your side is losing the argument on it, and will continue to lose it.

And this rant illustrates why 800K a year of mostly urban black males get arrested/convicted/jailed of mostly pot possession while millions of poor welfare/foodstamp drawing pot smoking whites, to say nothing of the larger pool of middle/upper middle class pot smokers get left alone for the most part to pot smoke their lives away. More whites collect welfare/food stamps, Medicaid, etc., but clearly it is the thought of those urban minority males getting your hard earned tax dollars that makes your blood boil...thereby generating in you the need/desire to get even, and the selective application of the WOD is how you exercise that desire.
why 800K a year of mostly urban black males get arrested/convicted/jailed of mostly pot possession
Wrong again.
If you want to debate, then get your facts straight.
Until then, talk to yourself. I am sure you are good at it.
While you are figuring out the facts, remember it is not about race, it is about economic situation.
You can try painting it as a race issue all you want, but you'll still be wrong and still look like an uninformed idiot.
Peace out.
