I would rather not be a TV character or a "reality" show personality in an important negotiation.

You can spin this crap until you turn it into cotton candy for all I care. I have seen zero evidence that Trump knows anything about negotiating strategy. Tactics, maybe (like leaving the table before the other guy). And he is really, really good at coming out of a negotiation and declaring that he just made the best deal ever and has a really good relationship with the other side, because, heck, he just has such good instincts. But results? I've seen nothing yet but his gums flapping to boost his own ego.

Trump is an ass. He brays a lot and poops where he likes, but he is a leader only in the sense that the rest of you lemmings will follow him anywhere.

Well I could re-post that list that has been posted here repeatedly showing Trump's accomplishments or another similar list (see link below) but what's the point? As another frequent poster here has said you can't reason someone out of a position they never reasoned themselves into in the first place.

No real response to this...like Scott Adams says people aren't really rational they just think they are; smart people are just better at rationalizing their emotion based biases then poor dumb folks are. I get it you hate you some Trump; anything he did he either didn't do it or if he did and it worked out somehow it had nothing to do with him and even if it did, you still hate the SOB.

What I find halarious is trump was a hard core democratic supporter just ten years ago and the hard right just ignore that little factoid.
I measure a success of a president on how my daily like is affected.
QED: Gas prices up or down? Food prices up or down? Health care up or down? Health care quality up or down?
interest rate up or down? Cost of durable goods up or down? stock marked up or down? Inflation rate? How I am perceived as being an american abroad? And quality care for the elderly, because sooner or later we all have to depend on the system.
And last but not least "Is the current administration profiting from their decisions?"
And I by the way am not a hillary supporter.
And as for his accomplishment(he has achieved a few things) to quote Mark twain-"There are lies, darn lies and statistics. "

Remember when you point a finger at something that leaves three pointing back at you.

Republican County Constable Larry Dale Floyd was arrested on suspicion of soliciting sex with an 8-year old girl. Floyd has repeatedly won elections for Denton County, Texas, constable.
Republican Party leader Bobby Stumbo was arrested for having sex with a 5-year old boy.
Republican legislator Edison Misla Aldarondo was sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping his daughter between the ages of 9 and 17.
Republican Committeeman John R. Curtain was charged with molesting a teenage boy and unlawful sexual contact with a minor.
Republican campaign consultant Tom Shortridge was sentenced to three years probation for taking nude photographs of a 15-year old girl.
Republican United States Senator Strom Thurmond had sex with a 15-year old black girl which produced a child.
Republican legislator Peter Dibble pleaded no contest to having an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old girl.
Republican advertising consultant Carey Lee Cramer was charged with molesting his 9-year old step-daughter after including her in an anti-Gore television commercial
Republican Congressman Donald "Buz" Lukens was found guilty of having sex with a female minor and sentenced to one month in jail
Republican fundraiser Richard A. Delgaudio was found guilty of child porn charges and paying two teenage girls to pose for sexual photos.
Republican activist Mark A. Grethen convicted on six counts of sex crimes involving children.
Republican activist Randal David Ankeney pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault on a child.
Republican Congressman Dan Crane had sex with a female minor working as a congressional page.
Republican activist and Christian Coalition leader Beverly Russell admitted to an incestuous relationship with his step daughter.
Republican Judge Ronald C. Kline was placed under house arrest for child molestation and possession of child pornography.
Republican congressman and anti-gay activist Robert Bauman was charged with having sex with a 16-year-old boy he picked up at a gay bar.
Republican Committee Chairman Jeffrey Patti was arrested for distributing a video clip of a 5-year-old girl being raped.
Republican legislative aide Howard L. Brooks was charged with molesting a 12-year old boy and possession of child pornography.
Republican election board official Kevin Coan was sentenced to two years probation for soliciting sex over the internet from a 14-year old girl.
Republican politician Andrew Buhr was charged with two counts of first degree sodomy with a 13-year old boy.
Republican politician Keith Westmoreland was arrested on seven felony counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition to girls under the age of 16 (i.e. exposing himself to children).
Republican County Councilman Keola Childs pleaded guilty to molesting a male child.
Republican Councilman and former Marine Jack W. Gardner was convicted of molesting a 13-year old girl.
Republican strategist and Citadel Military College graduate Robin Vanderwall was convicted in Virginia on five counts of soliciting sex from boys and girls over the internet.
Republican director of the "Young Republican Federation" Nicholas Elizondo molested his 6-year old daughter and was sentenced to six years in prison.

Any way the point being, Its not left versus right but good versus evil and to think anything else is self delusional. Open your mind to the fact we have to clean our own ranks before we go forth to clean others.
Strom Thurmond? What did you do, go back 50 years and set your search threshold for office at dog catcher?

Misses my point entirely. There have been quite a lot of rumors an innuendos about the sort of people the Clinton's surround themselves with, and that indictment shows a little bit of fire where there has been observed quite a lot of smoke. There is too much stuff that puts off a bad vibe to dismiss all of it.

I am reminded when Trump said Obama wiretapped his office. At first everyone said "There goes that crazy Trump, just making stuff up! Boy that Trump sure is crazy. "

Now that the fact's have come out, we can see that yes, Obama and his agencies deliberately wiretapped everything about the Trump campaign they could get away with using phony claims and artificial "evidence" to procure warrants so that they could tamper with the election process in the US.

I think this other story about Hillary's association with child molesters has more shoes to drop.

I think you get exposed to too much propaganda there in Virginia. It's too close to the centers of power, and you get all the noise the various interest groups emit.

Most people out here in flyover country don't pay a lot of attention to what Trump says. We long ago learned that he is a master troll at getting certain segments of the population to screech like their hair is on fire. Trump sometimes means what he says, and he sometimes just says things to mess with people.

We watch what he does, and so far he has been doing magnificent. I didn't start out as a Trump fan, but now I think he may be our greatest president since George Washington. :)

Where Trump outclasses every other President is in getting corrupt opposition to expose themselves. Which isn't too difficult when you're a fearless SOB who isn't afraid of offending people, and your opposition is so mindlessly opposed to you that they take an opposing stance to anything you say, regardless of truth. He just has to say something true (often figuratively rather than literally) that shocks, offends, or embarrasses his opposition, and they damage themselves in the response storm.

I don't think the mid-terms in November will go at all the way the Dems believe...think they are in for another disappointment. There won't IMHO be a "blue wave" either the needle won't move much at all, or the Republicans might actually gain some we will see.

Michael Moore who hates Trump with a passion, & who called the 2016 election months before the election believes Trump will win in 2020 I concur. The electoral college is functioning exactly the way it is supposed to.

Michael Moore: Fahrenheit 11/9 | Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlbOmDLqcw4

He (Moore) call it (2020 Trump re-election) at about the 05:20 mark; further more they (he and Bill Maher) think Trump won't leave after 2024 if re-elected. No I don't believe the later part, I do agree that Trump loves to f&%k with people.

Why Do Elites Like Socialism?

Not sure what is going on here but according to Prof. Jordan Peterson there is something happening at Universities. He (Peterson) says something about the Universities "devolving", whatever that means. They are hiring "adjutant Professors" in droves who are being paid abysmally (16-20K/yr) "living in their cars", and are not apparently any longer on a tenure track. Don't know exactly what this means. Not sure if their is some kind of purge or something going on (or will at some point) for whatever reason.

Yeah, that Trump guy really is a moron.

Private payrolls miss expectations as companies can't find enough people to hire

“Business’ number one problem is finding qualified workers,” Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics, said in a statement. “At the current pace of job growth, if sustained, this problem is set to get much worse. These labor shortages will only intensify across all industries and company sizes. ”

maybe, but the problem we face is not applicants, we get plenty of them . But qualified applicants that can perform the most basic tasks, phone skills note taking, decision trees. The shop my friends own, most applicants can not even make change from a cash transaction without training.

The real test is two or more years into this presidents terms,That is when we will see the true effects of his policies and actions. His decisions are just starting to effect the market and workforce. I hope for the best even though I am not a personal fan of the man.

Over this last week I got several inquiries from apparently headhunters who care more for quantity of applicants than quality, for jobs completely outside what my resume would support. The hiring process is broken.

Agreed, Interviewed for SpaceX and I was not what they were looking for, partly because of expectations were different from what they wanted to what I was told they wanted. It was obvious from the Get-Go I was not what they were looking for but it was very cool and there were opportunity available but not at the salary I would be expecting. Only made it though the first tier They also seemed overly focused on "The mission" Even so it was very tempting and If I were a younger man......

I think that Musk and his team our actually singularly devoted to the idea of their Mars Colony in particular and mankind moving into space in general. I think he has the competence to pull it off and I love the competition between him and Bezos (who apparently is going to the moon big time). Too powerful wealthy ultra-competent people competing to open up the final frontier; enough to give one chills. And Trump has taken serious notice and he clearly likes the idea; that don't hurt. Very much doubt that "president Hillary" would have taken the same attitude; best hope would have been an Obama like kind of mild contempt/indifference. I too wish I was a younger man just so I could live to see the future; imagine 30-50yrs after the BFR comes into service? It will likely look like something out of golden age science fiction; before they ruined it with all that socialist/new wave crappola. Maybe I will live to see that hoped for longevity breakthrough; even longer odds me personally benefiting, but who knows?

Addendum: Hate to admit this but according to one of the those History Channel specials I watched Friday that occasionally air on the subject of UFO's, Hillary Clinton had apparently made some big promises about getting to the bottom of the truth of what the guv knows about UFO's (following in Bill's footsteps) if she had become president. For whatever that is worth; Hillary promises being what they are. Nobody seems to know how Donald Trump feels about UFO's; someone asked Sarah Huckabee Saunders at a press conference some months ago about that and she said with a smirk, "She didn't know how the President felt about UFO's", said something about she would get back to us with some kind of a response, nothing so far.

The said history channel special was strongly related to this earlier post:
"My personal belief is that there is very compelling evidence that we may not be alone," said Luis Elizondo, the person who formerly managed the Pentagon Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program, in an interview with CNN.
