High tension is no joke. Doesn't take a lot of contamination to sport an arc. Glad I don't muck with it anymore. An old buddy of mine had his hand blasted last year. They pruned him to mid-forearm. Now he makes funny jokes like "you know there is no mystery for which hand I use to do 'stuff' with, nice to meet you".

Bird poop did not take down a reactor. Bird poop took down a transmission line. The fully functional reactor safety systems then brought the reactor to a safe shut down.

Might be a good idea for ITER to set a few mouse traps, just in case.
