FOIA

Post by rj40 »

Would a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request speed up release of news? I have no intention of doing this (basically I plan on following any input we get from Rick Nebel), but, just out of curiosity, would it hurt the program? In what ways would it hurt the program? Anyone think there is a risk of curious reporters trying this?

At a guess, I'd say it was a bad thing to do, reasons being it would involve more work, when they are probably very busy as it is, and bring red tape to the situation which previously didn't exist.

Eg. Don't draw attention to it too much, and we might hear something.

Ask for information and they will say you can't be told..

I have been in semi-regular contact with Rick. Most recently the Chu video.

He has not breathed a word about progress.

The best thing to do is be patient. Don't add to his work load.
