I nearly shot coffee over my keyboard over the mention of DRMO.

That's how you know someone's worked for the US Government, they know how to scrape for spare stuff that's going to the auction house / trash bin. We've done quite a few projects at almost zero material cost by knowing when other units were turning in excess stuff.

I remember hauling a pickup truckload of old PCs (z248s) from the Base Comm Center to DRMO when we "upgraded" to 486s, but it was so long ago I can't even remember what it stands for.
