Re: SOFE Conference schedule
Helion Energy is listed twice:
"Vacuum vessel and divertor design and results of 16 month operation of the Trenta Magneto-Inertial Fusion prototype"
Oral421 (Thu Dec 16 @ 1pm): MFE, MTF and IFE Alternate Concepts - David Kirtley (CEO)
"Thermonuclear Field Reversed Configuration plasmas in the Trenta prototype"
Poster111 (Mon Dec 13 @ 10:30am): Divertors, Neutronics, Alternates - David Kirtley (CEO)
It looks there are four presenters in Oral421, so about half an hour each including questions.

According to the schedule Helion Energy presented their poster yesterday. Is there any news on the content of that poster?Carl White wrote: ↑Fri Nov 05, 2021 1:33 amHelion Energy is listed twice:

Has anyone seen the abstracts for the poster and/or the talk?
Re: SOFE Conference schedule
Still waiting for that too. They are supposed to have some info package to be published with SOFE but I have not heard or seen anything yet.
They might be still working on it or they are waiting until the end of the conference to publish it.
Edit: They have to wait until after the conference.

Re: SOFE Conference schedule
Will there be an article any time soon?
Re: SOFE Conference schedule
I am not sure if there will be any articles in particular but they are planning to provide some more general information.
Re: SOFE Conference schedule
I want to see a one mile long Giga Polaris factory, stakes in the dirt, ground breaking.
Counting the days to commercial fusion. It is not that long now.
Re: SOFE Conference schedule
From what I understand Antares is the beginning of that. They are going to assemble all of their next machines there until at some point, I presume, they will need something bigger
Re: SOFE Conference schedule

Skipjack, do you know if Helion Energy intends to publish their SOFE 2021 poster was well?Bumblebee wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 4:09 pmHelion's SOFE 2021 talk is now up.

Re: SOFE Conference schedule
Last I heard, they are considering an advanced FAQ with posters, papers and other materials for people who are more knowledgeable in the field. I am not sure what the status of that is right now and when/if that will happen. I hope they will do it. They are/were also planning for more videos that are more easily digestible for the general public.crowberry wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 7:20 pmSkipjack, do you know if Helion Energy intends to publish their SOFE 2021 poster was well?Bumblebee wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 4:09 pmHelion's SOFE 2021 talk is now up.
