Great find!
Clever ideas indeed. I took my time to watch it twice.

FWIW I didn’t rate their chances of success very highly. They seem to be wanting to re-invent the HTSC manufacturing process. They want a 45 cm (!!) thick flow of lithium hydride down the wall of a horizontal cylinder, pinned by lorentz forces, with liquid lead floating on top (?). And they are looking to hire a chief fusion scientist - shouldn’t they already have a leading light? Well, not on this evidence, because the presentation was stumbling and unconvincing at times.
Seemed like a big public science project hoping for private funds.
Zap and Helion seem like much better bets.

Yes, and this is where all their potential is. I also doubt they will be able to realize a 45 cm thick wall of flowing lithium the way they envisioned, but if they can pull off the that HST manufacturing process (and I do not see big obstacle in doing it) it will be a great tech for everyone else out there.
That HTSC manufacturing process is one of those clever idea used in other industries that makes you think why no one thought about it before.
