Read/Unread posts flagging

I don't know if it's just me, but the forum doesn't seem to handle posts' read/unread status correctly. If I click on a topic's "go to first unread post" button, it will work only for one topic and mark all other posts as read, including those in threads I haven't opened yet. If I then click on another thread's first-unread button, it'll give an error message about there being no new posts in that thread.
