I wonder if the navy wasn´t convinced by Lockheed Martin to scrap EMC2 and invest in LMs fusion concept?
We all know LM has other contracts with the navy and probably hundreds of connections on all levels.

Re: Aviation Week on the Lockheed Skunkworks CFR
the answer to your question must be here... if you can make sense of it... words in an article rarely explain things that well. " Instead of constraining the plasma within tubular rings, a series of superconducting coils will generate a new magnetic-field geometry in which the plasma is held within ...

well, they didn´t just say it was right or wrong.
they analized, speculated, read papers, disserted about them, over some 100 pages at least.

Re: Nature Article on Fusion - 9/22 - More ITER.
btw, on a complete layman not science related forum, there was a discussion about fusion and this news of an european comission deciding to put more 850 million euros on ITER. http://eandt.theiet.org/news/2014/oct/eurofusion.cfm I answered it was pathetic to put all your eggs in a single basket like...

for the layman who is not aware of who the people on the comitee are... why should we be suspicious of their conclusion? Are they all biased towards tokamaks?

There it is. Somebody got $30M lying around, willing to risk it? I'm a couple of decimal places short, myself, or this would be underway. don´t worry, I have the feeling I will win the brazilian special turn of the year lottery... last year, prize was R$200 million, about U$100 million. If I win it...

There was already a thread about Dynomak... created just yesterday http://www.talk-polywell.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5632 Can a mod merge both? The other thread has some interesting info by one of Dynomak creators (because I wrote some stuff at the comments section of the article, and he answered)

Derek Sutherland answered my invitation to post here "You're welcome to post that on Polywell forum. Believe me, I'm not anti-anytype of fusion that has some scientific basis. I'm just skeptical of fusion claims, as any scientist should be. I have talked with EMC2 before, and actually have been to t...

is it true Rossi's device produces isotopically pure 62Ni as byproduct, and that a milligram of it costs $20k?? If it is, I wonder why Rossi still needs investors money, considering he produces lots of such an expensive byproduct which he could just sell. As I said in NBF, people should look the ita...
