Not my job. If you want to know, go read the pubs, take the courses, and get yourself certified as a contracting officer. Or you can continue to live in the world you are where "blacks ops" can do as they wish. As I said, fine by me. Doesn't affect my life at all. So you don't really know or you do...

Imagine the customer doesn't really care about the science and only if the thing can do what Rossi says it can do for a moment ... who would want such a product? Someone with a remote camp that needs heating is a distinct possibility ... I'm thinking somewhere cold, like Antartica or Artic circle w...

Is there really one? Well that is the question, isnt it? I do have to wonder though, that if you were to invent a customer, who is the only one checking your results, why conduct the experiment and present results in a way that adds fuel to the doubters. E.g. why have less than 500kW output? Why ha...

What is the difference between purifying and removing contaminates? Natural abundance of 62Ni is about 4% of all nickel. I doubt purifying it to 50% would effect the (real) radiation problem much. But, even that level of purification is difficult, and expensive. And what of the isotopic analysis th...

There is a reason the shuttle drops like a manueverable brick. And I have seen inside the wing structure and roots, it is some very beefy stuff. The shuttle does not use its engines for breaking though... The requirment for strong wingspar is not derived from reentry situation (after all, you can k...

How bout a scissor wing with a KFm-5B foil? The foil would snuggle up right against the side of the cylindrical rocket body and could extend out, rotate 90 degrees and snuggle back against a special ring in the shell. It would taked only a minor amount of volume and when stowed parallel would add l...

As to why the lower output? The 2" outlet pipeline he placed was not suitable to handle 1MWt/h of steam and the rectangular shells of the reactors are not suitable to handle the related line pressure. By reducing the steam flow to 50% and splitting it into 2 (some says even four) different streams ...

The problem is that everything that adds to lift also adds to drag... That is why I talk about symmetrical section. Those are sections typically designed for tail surfaces, with minimal drag at zero lift at zero angle of attack. But they still can have quite good L/D with non-zero angle, typically ...

On lift/drag of a cylinder on reentry (related to cross range), I happen to be toying with some algorithms for figuring that kind of thing by the Newtonian Impact Model. Assuming a 5:1 length:diameter ratio, flat ends, my code projects a peak L/D of almost 0.4 at a 50 degree AoA. I can share my cod...

The Mach Truck is in reference to the 1 MW machine ... are you going to argue with that if it proves to work? 1MW device makes no sense. If you want to prove the e-cat is real, it is much easier to do it measuring smaller units. "1MW device" has no practical use, it is something that will eat hunde...

The least thing I have intention to do is to stand near that steam bomb when they power it up. IF it really produces 1 MW power there will be very little left of anyone standing in a 50 meter radius. I find it unlikely that he hasn't run it already. Why wouldn't he? What engineer in his right mind ...

All those emotional skeptics who are convinced that there are no reactions going on should be made to stand next to the thing when Rossi fires it up for the first time .... that'll test the power of their convictions ... hahaha. With planned COP 6, there will be going more than 150KW INTO the devic...
