Yes, rj40 - the power company will notice the loss, and track down the culprit.
Of course, if you mounted the device in a car, so that you powered an electric motor from the EM, there wouldn't be a single place to track you to.
I'm just sayin'.

Fusion product Alpha particle
I'd been meaning to work out the cyclotron radius of the fusion product alphas for some time, so I finally did. Cyclotron radius: r = mv/qB For an alpha particle in a p-B11 polywell, we have: m = 6.64424*10^-27 kg v = 1.16*10^7 q = 3.20*10^-19 C B = 10 T so, r = .0242 m That's significantly tighter ...

Cadgy scientists make extraordinary claims very slowly. First releasing "anomalous data" papers, carefully not making claims, only later - after the data is undisputed - starting to make claims about it. It allows a fast & loose paper writer to steal the theoretical thunder, but it also lets you kee...

But Xenon is a common fission by-product. Maybe N Korea made up the Fusion thing to try to divert attention from a nuclear reactor accident.

Hrm. I invoke Godwin's Law, this thread has terminal illness. I see, any time you talk about the history and the politics of a region and it leads to the Austrian Corporal it must be air brushed out. That's not how things work. The problem is that even accurate and proper mention of the Nazis for c...

In a Brayton cycle jet engine, high temperature means lousy thrust efficiency. Low temperature means lousy thermal efficiency, and corresponding low thrust efficiency. Um... NO. Adding heat on the high side lets more drop happen with the same ambient. That's why you heat an airstream to increase je...

"America has almost no real rail" Heh. the CIA's world factbook gives a better view of that. Railways: total: 226,427 km country comparison to the world: 1 Area: total: 9,826,675 sq km (which includes Alaska, but let's go with it) That means each kilometer of rail serves 43 sq km of territory. Russi...
