It would be good if the polywell crew could converse on this list (or others if this is not to their liking). It would be a way to recruit a good deal of volunteer effort and free publicity. I second that, if it's legally permissible for them to do so. This is very exciting stuff, and they could po...

BTW that reactor story is at least 2 years old and there has been no follow up I'm aware of. I could see such nukes used in guarded industrial processes. Sitting unguarded in your local neighborhood? Too risky. Once you add guards the cost of electricity goes way up because of the low capacity. Not...

BTW you underestimate Congressional knowledge of the Bussard Reactor. You will see proof of that if WB-7 green lights further efforts. If the energy gods smile in '08 and we do a balls-out development on the full scale reactor, that would be one of the best things this country's done lately. About ...

I made another release, ephi-0.14, this one has tricubic interpolation and sector based data division. See "otree.cpp" for a test application. http://www.mare.ee/indrek/ephi/#download - Indrek Indrek, I've been enjoying the pretty pictures and I'm impressed with your work. As a soon to be physics g...

There are people paying millions of euros to help create perpetual motion machines (check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steorn as just one example). I would think getting money for real energy devices would be a lot easier to come by. In 2006 Dr Bussard had a letter posted to a James Randi Found...

Goofy Google?
... just caught this bit about google pursuing / funding renewable energy, but even though the good Dr B gave his famous talk there, no mention of polywell:

In light of the tensions over Iran and suggesting a different direction for their nuclear program. Yup. The tone and manner of the Iranian reaction to the announcement of something like this would be revealing. If they really want peaceful nukes, sell them a license to Polywell - it's a cheaper, be...

9) I think the earth's molten core is caused by tidal forces from the moon, not by radioactive decay. Interesting. I'd think you'd be able to check this by calculating work done by the moon's tidal drag vs joules needed to keep the Earth's core hot. Just as a guess, I'd think that if the moon were ...
