Re: LENR Is Real
Why does it make you feel good to to be so bloody rude to someone you don't know without any proof what-so-ever? Excuse me? I'm stating my opinion; I'm not addressing Messrs. Rossi or Hadjichristos. As far as I am aware, neither reads this forum nor has posted anything here. If you think that I'm b...

Re: LENR Is Real
Advocates like to compare Rossi to the Wright brothers, saying that some contemporaries opined that heavier-than-air flight was impossible. Well, given the technology then available, it was impossible. I have not, to this day, seen a steam-powered airplaine, although Langley reportedly tried. It was...

Re: LENR Is Real
I thought that muon-catalyzed fusion was pretty much a done deal. The problem is that there are many practical issues that prevent making it an energy source. Based on the various claims and history from Rossi (Defkalion and lately, BLP), I don't think they have anything that will satisfy any throug...

Re: 2014 Dark Horse Trifecta Year?
I've been following Star Scientific for a couple of years now. It's my impression that they have received a certain amount of investment capital. In past website news, they seem to have been particularly proud of their CNC turret lathe and have shown various bits of experimental equipment under cons...

Re: 10KW LENR demonstrator (new thread)
Note that Rossi is warning of "postive or negative" outcomes of his secret "testing". A nice convenient way out for Rossi, and a way to make it very difficult to prosecute him, is if the tests come out negative. Then Mr. Rossi can say "Mi dispiace molto, but I did warn you."--and take his money and ...

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
Well, it seems to me that if the object was energy storage, testing would be pretty straightforward and probably doable with materials available at the local Radio Shack store. I never did understand the quibbling about frequencies and whatnot. Charge the thing, discharge it into a load and see how ...

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
So now the faithful are left saying "With all this horseshit there just has to be a pony in here somewhere."
Very sad.

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
IMO this EEStor/Zenn fraud/scam is far from over. It's possible Dick Weir could find new Private Placement suckers, I mean investors as he has done in the past. You have to understand Dick Weir is an excellent snake oil salesman, just listen to the 2009 leaked conference call, http://www.4all.com/u...

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
Well, it certainly looks like the last twitch for investors. Today, on US OTC trading, Zenn lost somewhere south of 39% in its stock price. On the TSX, perhaps south of only 30% (Canadians more optimistic?). If you have a share of Zenn stock, you can't trade it for a pack of chewing gum. Let's close...

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
Zenn is just following the same pattern of being hoodwinked since they were FGC (Feel Good Cars) with the AEC (Alternative Energy Corp.) proposed hydrogen-on-the-fly-from-water days.
At least they're consistent.

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
Aaaand Zenn/eeStor can be seen slowly sinking into the sunset. Final published results say that they basically have nothing--and they're pretty much out of money:

Re: New youngest fusioneer
Well, maybe not. Go to the forum over at fusor.net. They award "neutron badges" for those who have gathered evidence of fusion. The problem is that the kid is showing neutron emission way in excess of what would be expected. So, no badge yet. But the forum members have offered to help him clear thin...

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
I think this recent post on the EEStory forum sums things up quite nicely:
Is there any reason to check back here any more?
(If one has to ask, then the answer should be obvious.)
