Here is the link for some who actually is interested to run benchmarks: They are defining the testing protocols. Why? If they are also providing the testing and measuremtent equipment, the test is worthless. The tests will be conducted according to mutually agreed upon protocols, as stated in the p...

Here is the link for some who actually is interested to run benchmarks: http://www.defkalion-energy.com/files/2012-01-23_Independent_Testing_on_Hyperion_Reactors.pdf Excellent news! The website forum further specifies that the tests will take place within the next two months. Let the countdown begin!

I'll make it easy for you. How much are you prepared to bet against "that a device using nickel & H2 will be proven to generate kWhs of anomalous heat (by the FPE, cold fusion or LENR) by the end of 2012?" I'll say it again - £1000 How about you? Cold feet? Come to you senses? Has the prospect of l...

Re: Joseph nails it

Some want so badly for something new and good to be real that they simply believe, and will search for anything that fits with their belief system. You can divide people into two broad groups: 1. Those who, despite the evidence, believe what suits them. 2. Those who, because of the evidence, believ...

You have completely misunderstood what I was trying to say.

Don't put words in my mouth.

This exchange has become tiresome. I find you are a rude person.

We can re-engage in a discussion of the difference between the Pd and Ni systems when more information is available.

Until then.

which of the multiple varients? This strikes me as saying that since Brayrton and Rankine and Otto and ... are all thermodynamic cycles they should all be called the Heron Effect. Sorry, but that loses a lot in the communication effect. In the P&F experiments it is obvious that fusion is not occurr...

As has been suggested elsewhere, the most appropriate name going forward is the Pons and Fleishmann Effect (PFE). which of the multiple varients? I don't find it splitting hairs in the least. By your definition, they're all "nuclear" so I can substitute fusion for fission and say we have fusion plants powering our nation, which would be patently false. At some point people have to call it as it is and I think we're getting to that point. WOW...

This presentation provides some interesting historical context and perspective for LENR research/findings. It is more oriented toward actual scientific work than the apparent comercialization/demo approach of Rossi, Defkalion, etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VymhJCcNBBc The videos of the the 20...

The calculated and observed emission from the cavity are both show BEC behavior of photons. Are you saying that the condensed matter in the cavity that behaves exactly like a BEC is not a BEC? If I can "understand and appreciate" this condensate, which behaves exactly like a BEC, can I then appreci...

Re: Chan method of replication

I'm ok with electronics, but I am not a pro. But I'd like to follow Chan's method if possible. I guess I'm wondering if I buy an RFG that has 5, 10, or 20 volts PP will that be enough to heat a powder in a copper tube to 200C. Be very aware, that if you heat MgH2 to 400C the equilibrium pressure of...

http://www.physicsforums.com/showthread.php?t=208222 Theorem summary: Mermin-Wagner theorem tells you that if there is a long-range-order (existence of BEC) in two-dimensional systems, the fluctuations will drive the system to somewhere else, destroying the condensate. The literature addresses this...

So just to be clear. You state that the TM00 mode of the cavity is not the ground state and that a BEC of photons is not possible by definition without any supporting citations. Your position is that there is an unknown condensed state of photons that are not in the ground state, but behave mathema...
