Re: Bill Gates is heading a $1 billion venture fund to combat climate change
happyjack27 Are you really silly or are you being silly just for show? How does color relate to CO2 temperatures? Do you think that because coal is black then carbon must be blacker than regular air and more CO2 means that atmosphere is darker so it absorbs more heat? This is not how it works. I wa...

Re: Bill Gates is heading a $1 billion venture fund to combat climate change
Consider this a reality test of the global warming thesis. If this fund invest heavily in advanced fission concepts such as MSR, thorium power and the like as well as the various fusion concepts such as polywell and Helion Energy's FRC, then it is reasonable to say that these people believe that gl...

Re: Bill Gates is heading a $1 billion venture fund to combat climate change
Are you referring to the scientific consensus where 97% of scientists agree with AGW? I looked at how this was measured. Here is the best part: Australian scientist John Cook — author of the 2011 book "Climate Change Denial: Heads in the Sand" and creator of the blog "Skeptical Science". In an analy...

Re: Bill Gates is heading a $1 billion venture fund to combat climate change
I have a feeling that not a cent of that will go to a fusion research. The entire AGW is an idea designed to provide excuse for government growth and overreach and since warming is not a real problem nobody looks for real solutions like fusion. I really hope I am wrong and substantial funds from tha...

Re: Room-temperature superconductivity?
Anyone heard from Prins? I just looked at my facebook page that I have created when Facebook was in infancy and hardly used ever since, and today Johan Prins popped up as suggested contact. https://www.facebook.com/johan.prins3 Looks like he frequently comments on physics on his facebook page, but ...

Re: New Polywell Article On HotGas
The first thing to notice is that the letter from a German university to a German citizen is in English. That alone should send one looking for an article debunking it. This is the second time I've seen this surface on a forum I frequent. How about the post stamp with Einstein himself? As I mention...

Re: LENR Is Real
Here is an interesting interview with the man behind Cherokee Partners http://fortune.com/2015/09/27/ceo-cherokee-investment-partners-low-energy-nuclear-reaction/ Cold fusion has such a checkered past and is so filled with hypesters and people with a gold rush, get-rich-quick mentality. We need to b...
