The University of Nevada, Reno will host the next Innovative Confinement Concepts (ICC) Workshop from Tuesday, June 24 through Friday, June 27, 2008. Onsite registration begins Monday, June 23 at the Eldorado Hotel.
ICC2008 is a continuation of the ICC series that met in College Park, Maryland in 2007, Austin, Texas in 2006, Madison, Wisconsin in 2004, Seattle, Washington in 2003, and College Park, Maryland in 2002. It will provide a forum for an exchange of ideas through presentations and discussions on the science and status of innovative confinement concepts research, and on new ideas.
The most interesting (to me) presentation:
Friday, June 27, 2008

Engineering is the art of making what you want from what you can get at a profit.
these week-long conventions... how are the atendees feeling towards the end of the week hopefully they don`t lose interest(as with everything theres a lot of anticipation at first then you lose interest), as this "Novel Cluster High Performance Target" is on the last day of the convention. Msimon, are you more enthusiastic about the subject or about the fact that this George Miley is a speaker?
