Ion scattering and Saturn's rings

Post by TallDave »

Interesting article on the lack of scattering in Saturn's rings.

Reminded me of the ion upscattering issue and Bussard's annealing claim. Probably nothing directly applicable to Polywell here, but it's interesting to see an anti-entropic force at work in nature.

Which would tend to argue that having an oscillator/natural frequency in a system can help maintain order. As a general principle.
