I'm surprised that the paper by Joel Roberts presented at IEC 2009 has not generated more discussion. The paper is an independent analysis of a poylwell using a credible particle in cell approach. The analysis is very encouraging on a number of points, including his conclusion that "Polywell remains a prime contender to solve theworld’s energy crisis". His analysis indicates that the diameter for a breakeven poylwell on DD would be about 1.3 meters and in general indicates the fundamental concept is feasible. I encourage a good look at this paper.

I get a 404 error when I try to access it.
