Thanks: I looked at older data a few years back, and though the cross-section was about what I recalled, I missed the incident energy difference.

Dr. Jaeyoung Park is a co-author of the paper, and his affiliation is given as "TAE Technologies, Inc." When did that happen?

Podcast by Artem Smirnov, TAE chief technology officer
https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/f ... 0520594876

TAE has been funded by the milestone
Norman has demonstrated technological -practically- long enough and hot enough for fusion
Copernicus expect to demonstrate net energy by mid 2020's at 24 minutes
Da Vinci to demonstrate commercial power to the grid by late 2020's

Industry has cumulatively delivered imminent commercial fusion on a time scale that is shorter than previously believed. Investors after considerable due diligence are confident that commercial fusion is within reach.
Near term, cheap, dark horse fusion hits the air waves, GF - TED, LM - Announcement. The race is on.

Nice job spotting it.
If I remember well i recently read that EMC2 run out of funds in 2019 and shut all operations. With is experience he is a good assets for any company out there, is nice to see him joining an active research job again.
