Yep. It exceeded 160 million degrees Celsius for 20 seconds too.

The news appears to be that KSTAR "broke its own record". You might think that meant it held the previous record, and that ought to be a reasonable assumption.

This sounds interesting, a supposedly new operational mode to control instabilities in Tokamaks. I haven’t read the paper itself:
