another easier way might just be to subcontract talk-polywell.org to ecm2 corp (for some....reason) and then appeal for 'scraps' of data on a need-to-know clause.
I believe Rick has said he will do that as much as possible.

In any case I'd like to see more funding for instrumentation - if it will help. In light of that I send EMC2 bits on new measuring devices that may help. Like a recent solid state replacement for X-Ray film.
