What happened to the lab notes?

I was trying to find the lab notes referenced using JohnP's and MSimon's links below:
http://ecow.engr.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/getbi ... nl0107.pdf
and
http://iecfusiontech.blogspot.com/2007/ ... added.html
Neither link seems to work anymore.

Also, JoeStrout, I can't seem to find your Polywell resources page where you said you would post it.

Thanks for your help on this!

I will be putting up a new copy of this pdf very soon and will post the link.
Late last year I went thru the WB6 report. I created some more readable equations and edited for spelling and other minor problems. The original wasn't meant for public consumption but given the circumstances I thought an edit pass would be helpful.

I have a lot of the links and resources that you might be interested in on the sidebar at:

I'm sure you know this, but we get new people all the time.

I stumbled across a nice cache of documents at "Mr. Fusion"

The 1st article w/ abstract is a paper by Dolan on Magnetic Inertial/Electrostatic confinement. It's got a lot of good info about other devices that have some similarity to the Polywell, some of which is probably applicable (despite Dr. Bussard's claims to the contrary).

I haven't finished looking through the rest of the articles, but that one at least is a real gem.

Sorry for the thread ressurection here, but I thought it would be better than starting a whole new one.

Now that my college calculus is progressing to the point where I recognize what most of the common symbols and operations are, I want to look for an introductory text to ease me into design and theory, and give me an idea of where my education needs to head to. It looks like there aren't a whole lot to choose from.

Anyone have any experience with either of these two texts?

Principles of Fusion Energy: An Introduction to Fusion Energy for Students of Science and Engineering.
A. A. Harms (Author), K. F. Schoepf (Author), G. H. Miley (Author), D. R. Kingdon (Author)

http://www.amazon.com/Principles-Fusion ... 288&sr=1-1

Plasma Physics and Fusion Energy
Jeffrey P. Freidberg (Author)

http://www.amazon.com/Plasma-Physics-Fu ... 288&sr=1-2

Sorry...

Eric,

Sorry I am not familiar with those texts. www.askmar.com seems to be the best place to get good fusion and Polywell papers. We need to add to that collection of documents. A place where everyone can download good information about the Polywell. Anyone familiar with the legal side of this?

I believe the material was deleted at the request of EMC2. There may be some private copies around but I doubt any one would give them up without permission of EMC2.
