Looks like an extremely useful reference for experimenters. Vacuum systems, custom glassware, charged-particle optics, materials, detectors, etc.

That would be *real neat* alongside my Amateur Scientist CD-ROM and the stuff on Stirling engines, electrostatic machines etc etc...

....but who is actually building amateur plasma devices here, except for me and Dan?

Is this thread merely highlighting bookshelf-fodder, or does it prelude an epiphany of T-P amateur builds?
